Chief Executive & Founder

Alex Skatell founded Independent Journal Review in a small apartment in Charleston, South Carolina, investing all his savings and weekly paycheck towards one goal: reaching a part of America that next generation media companies miss. Today, they're a top 50 website in the country, reaching an average of over 30 million monthly unique readers, and employing more than 65 reporters and writers covering politics and current events across the country.

Alex has been dubbed a "wunderkind" by the New York Times but his interest in journalism came from a simple lesson learned from watching his father: no one in the Skatell family was allowed to disturb Dad during the evening news.

1. Raise visibility in the publishing industry

2. Strengthen credibility: Be seen side by side with other innovative media companies

3. Grow readership and create additional partnership opportunities

credPR is amazing - the best value I have ever seen from an agency. We’ve loved them and working with their team.
