event goals.
This year’s SKO was the first time HG Insights brought everyone together since their 2 acquisitions in 2025. Their goal was to bring together sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align on new goals, share the Company’s vision, and provide training for the upcoming year. It also served as an opportunity to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and get to know new faces.
how we work with HG Insights.
venue & vendor coordination: cred owned all coordination with the event venue to ensure every detail came together. We liaised directly with the hotel to organize F&B and happy hour components over 4 days, as well as all key vendors which included— F&B, AV, transportation, awards, swag, photography, signage and design.
activations and activity planning: To add some practical engagement onsite, we hired a headshot photographer so employees could get new headshots taken and utilized the hotel’s presidential suite as a hospitality suite with snacks, drinks, games, and swag. To mix things up, we also organized a fun offsite day where you could choose to spend an afternoon either doing an Austin music tour, Pitch & Putt golf, or the ever popular Pickleball.
speaker & content management: For both external and internal speakers, cred provided templates, briefing docs, and suggested timelines to ensure planning stayed on track (especially over the holiday closure!). All final presentations were strung into one final deck that we coordinated polishing with a deck designer and managed onsite rehearsals. Breakouts groups with department leads were offered templates and coaching to maximize the time in each session. A big highlight from the agenda was the live role play/sales pitch competition!
executive communications. Weekly email updates and a live briefing meeting were provided to the Executive team to communicate key aspects of the event such as attendance, content status, and budget tracking so key stakeholders stay informed across all major decisions.
awards & president’s club. 30 employees qualified for the Company’s President’s Club– cred was key in planning the awards dinner and ceremony, ordering individual awards to be given out, and sharing a sneak peek of their upcoming trip as the reward.
project management: Throughout the planning process, we led end-to-end project management in close partnership with the HG marketing and sales enablement teams, aligning through collaborative weekly syncs and regular status update emails. We built and maintained a detailed workback schedule, booked external speaker T&E, managed budget updates with all vendor payments and deliverable deadlines, and developed a comprehensive run of show with a day by day run down of the event. Post-event, we facilitated an attendee survey, collaborative debrief, and recommendations for future events.
onsite management: cred was onsite for 4 days running registration and all venue/vendor coordination and to ensure all the planning came together for a positive employee experience.

client/attendee feedback.
“After all previous SKOs I gave the same feedback, the agenda was too packed, the days were too long, people felt fatigued, energy was low, it was a struggle to get through each day, every session was the same etc. This time around, all of those points were addressed. There was good variety, slightly longer breaks, more alignment with chosen content to meet the needs of the audience in the room. That's how a SKO should be run.”
“Best SKO I've been to. Feels a lot more like one company, one team now.”
“You rock, well done for all your efforts.”
“Fantastic event, best HG SKO I've been to. I thought all of the content was great. The sessions focused outside my department helped me understand those areas better, which is always a good thing.”
“Keep the same team of organizers for every future SKO, this crew is the winning combo.”
“The team who threw this event absolutely nailed it from the operations perspective.“
what’s next.
We’re jumping into President’s Club planning for our winners from SKO, as well as supporting HG’s broader event strategy.
We’re excited to continue the partnership!
