Voicea is the developer of an AI-based voice assistant platform created to harness the power of voice in the workplace. The company's voice assistant is an intelligent meeting facilitator that makes meetings searchable, takes note of decisions and encourages follow-up on action-items, take note of important decisions as well as highlights key moments of a call by leveraging a blend of artificial intelligence and speech recognition, enabling professionals to facilitate meetings in an easy manner and be efficient, effective and creative.

As of September 6, 2019, Voicea was acquired by Cisco Systems.

Both speakers expanded their individual thought leadership within AI and technology. Omar Tawakol, Founder & CEO

Omar Tawakol is the brains behind BlueKai, which he sold to Oracle in 2014 to become the Oracle Data Cloud, the world's largest consumer data marketplace that powered 97 of the top 100 U.S. marketers. After leading the team at Oracle for several years, Omar is now focused on bringing artificial intelligence to the workplace as the CEO & Founder of Voicea. He and his team built EVA, an enterprise voice assistant that partners with companies like Cisco WebEx, Skype, Slack and Salesforce to leverage enterprise data to make meetings more productive and enable employees to become more efficient. He earned an MS in Computer Science from Stanford (BS, MIT) where he researched and published work on AI agents.

Cory Treffiletti, CMO

Cory Treffiletti is Chief Marketing Officer for Voicea. Cory has pioneered digital marketing efforts as the CMO (VP) for Oracle's Data Cloud and CMO (SVP) for BlueKai. Cory has been a thought leader in the digital media landscape since 1994 with companies such as i-Traffic, Freestyle Interactive, and Carat (Aegis). He writes a weekly column on digital marketing since 2000 for MediaPost and has published a book called Internet Ad Pioneers. He currently serves on the board of the Data & Marketing Association (DMA) and is a graduate of the Newhouse School for Public Communications at Syracuse University.
