Earlier this week, Blend, the leading digital lending platform for mortgages and consumer banking, checked off a huge milestone for 2020: Forward, their first-ever virtual customer summit. In the midst of unprecedented and uncertain times, Blend quickly recognized the need for lenders to be more agile and digitally-oriented than ever and sprang into action.

Broadcasted to over 800 attendees, Forward featured three sessions with content from Blend’s leadership and product teams, and a panel of customers. Blend CEO Nima Ghamsari kicked off the event with a keynote address highlighting the current mortgage and lending climate, and how Blend’s products are helping their customers navigate this high refinancing volume world while adhering to new remote and drive-through only policies. Blend President Tim Mayopoulos led a panel of customers from Navy Federal Credit Union, BMO Harris Bank, and CrossCountry Mortgage discussing what kinds of trends they’ve been seeing in their own organizations over the past 60 days and how Blend products have helped them adapt. Finally, the Blend product team wrapped up the event with a deep dive into their product roadmap, showcasing new technologies that will allow lenders and borrowers to close on mortgages remotely and aid lenders in providing a quick, personalized experience.

The cred event management team was on hand to watch Forward come together. Along the way, we’ve been flexing our virtual events muscles to ensure that everything from the virtual platform to marketing communications ran smoothly. Similar to RampUp’s Political Summit, Blend selected ON24 as their virtual platform in order to maximize their speaker and attendee engagement.
