credCulture 2024 recap

With a full year of working remotely now under our belts, our Culture Club has worked harder than ever to make sure our team stays connected. Today we’re taking a look at the past year and all the activities we’ve planned for our team.

Holiday/New Years Party

After a busy 2022, our team celebrated the new year by getting together in San Francisco at a coworking space and ending the day at a local wine bar with passed appetizers and amazing wine from all over the world. Read a full recap of our first gathering of the year here!

Sandwich Making Class

For our first virtual activity, we hosted a unique experience with an online sandwich making class. Our host/instructor became one of us and taught us the beauty of making a proper sandwich, all while making us laugh.

Earth Day

At cred we take sustainability seriously, and this year we found fun ways to get our team even more sustainably-minded during Earth Day. We created a bingo card, and winners received gift cards and reusable bags to limit our use of plastic. This helped our team connect all while doing activities to help our planet.

8th Birthday

One of our most exciting times each year is for our birthday in May. It's a time we all can come together and celebrate all that cred is. To celebrate cred’s 8th birthday, we booked a large coworking space and were able to take meetings and chit chat IRL! We ended our time together in a private room at China Live where we ate the most delicious food. We all look forward to this celebration every year. Read more about our past 8 years here!

Wellness Week

Each year we take a week to really focus on our wellness. Like Earth Day, we used a bingo card for everyone to win prizes and to get everyone focused on wellness. In addition to the bingo card, we also had a step challenge where everyone was encouraged to get outside or get their walking pads out and move their bodies. The winner got a nice gift card from Lululemon.

Bridal Showers

Since going remote, we try to make sure we still celebrate our employees' personal celebrations. This year one of our credians got married, and we hosted a surprise bridal shower for her. It was so nice to have the team come together to celebrate such a special time in her life.

Paint & Sip — Halloween

Our team always tries to stay on top of trends, so when we saw this hand painted mat activity all over social media, we knew we had to implement it in our next event. It was so fun to get creative with the team and make spooky Halloween mats. Know this is something we all were proud to put on our doorsteps afterward!

Secret Snowflake Holiday Party

This was our first year (outside of COVID times) doing our holiday party 100% virtually. This year we kept with the creative theme and sent everyone Gingerbread kits to put together while chatting about everyone’s unique holiday traditions. We ended our event with a secret snowflake gift exchange. It was great to spend time with everyone before the holidays and to see everyone’s creative gifts.

With this year coming to an end, it’s great to look back at all the times we were able to connect while being spread out in 8 different states. We’re already looking forward to finding new ways to connect next year!
