our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Events shape society, and we’re dedicated to playing our part to influence and make change. At cred, we’re also committed to celebrating diversity and educating ourselves to create a more equitable and inclusive workplace. Our efforts include:

amplifying diverse perspectives at events.

Since cred was founded in 2015, we’ve been dedicated to ensuring the messaging we put on stage is inclusive and empowering. Every time a cred client steps onto a stage or hosts an event, their stories, and expertise influence the audience, their industry, and the world around us. We recognize the importance of elevating historically underrepresented voices and strive for 50% female representation and 50% representation of underrepresented groups in all events we are involved with as well as our client roster of speakers.

We prioritize working with partners who share our values and are also committed to elevating these voices. We have a zero-tolerance policy for racial discrimination.

credVoices.

cred has worked to close the equity gap in thought leaders since our inception. As we continue to grow, so does our responsibility to address these continued disparities. We are aware that our services may not be accessible to leaders from historically marginalized communities for various reasons. In order to proactively address the accessibility gap, we introduced our pro-bono program, credVoices, in 2022.

credVoices is a 6-month program where a leader receives select thought leadership services at no cost. This program aims to equip leaders from historically marginalized communities with the tools to confidently pursue thought leadership and further expand their platforms. You can find a recap of our first iteration of the program here, and if you’re interested in learning more, please reach out to voices@credpr.com.

This pro bono initiative is part of cred's philanthropic commitment to Pledge 1%, giving our time and products to benefit non-profit organizations and underserved communities.

building an inclusive team & culture.

Our people are our biggest asset, and we strive to have a team that includes diversity in gender, experience, age, race, religion, sexual orientation, and background. We take proactive measures to recruit from underrepresented communities and ensure our candidate pool is reflective of the larger population. Our hiring process is transparent and consistent and we use objective criteria to reduce interview bias. You can learn more about how we approach recruiting here

We strive to create a space where every credian feels comfortable sharing their ideas and living out our core value of Speak Your Truth. We empower team members in every role to own their path to growth and encourage personal and professional development through our biannual credReflect process, weekly manager check-ins, and dedicated professional development budget. We also invest in ongoing training opportunities, including those that highlight diversity and inclusion.
