The primary goal of a Sales Kick-Off (SKO) is to align the sales team with the company's vision and strategic objectives, ensuring everyone is working in the same direction. SKOs also serve to motivate and energize sales professionals, setting a positive tone for the upcoming year or sales cycle. They provide a platform for training and skill development, equipping the sales team with the knowledge and tools necessary to excel in their roles and meet their sales targets.


how we worked with LiveRamp.

  • Speaker management for virtual & in person SKO: We played a vital role in speaker management for Liveramp’s SKOs by working closely with the company’s designated internal SKO team to curate the agenda and speakers. Our involvement in speaker management included personalized speaker briefing documents, speaker coaching and rehearsals, content and presentation slides, deadline management, and aligning each speaker's message with Liveramp's goals and themes. Project management was also a core focus of the cred team for these events. This attention to detail contributed to a seamless and impactful experience for attendees, thanks to our guidance.

  • Keynote sourcing & management: For the virtual SKO, we managed logistics and content for headline speaker Allison Levine: history-making polar explorer, mountaineer, and team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition.

    For the in-person event in May 2022, we identified and secured J.R. Martinez, Army Veteran, motivational speaker, and actor, as the event’s keynote speaker. He shared personal stories and insights while also resonating with the sales team's challenges and aspirations, making the content highly engaging and relevant. With our assistance in keynote sourcing, Liveramp's SKO set the perfect inspirational and motivating tone for the event. Our ability to select speakers who could connect with the audience ensured that Liveramp's SKO was not just informative but deeply impactful.

  • A/V coordination for virtual & in person SKO: We were very hands on with our A/V teams to make sure the content ran smoothly. We met with AV teams weekly prior to the event and built out the run-of-show with all stage (or virtual stage) requirements, timing, furniture needs if applicable, slide decks, videos, voice of gods, interstitials, and live stream information. Onsite, we tested each of these components on every stage, for every session and rehearsed with executive speakers to make sure that all aspects were perfect for show time. There is no detail too small!

  • Onsite management & day-of production: For the virtual SKO, our team managed the virtual ‘green room’ to perform tech checks and ensure speakers were on time and set up to present remotely. Onsite in Chicago for the in-person SKO, we greeted each speaker in the backstage green room, provided swag, and ensured they presented on schedule. We prepped each speaker regarding the onstage experience and logistics prior to show time. For both events, we worked closely with the A/V team to ensure sessions ran smoothly which involved multiple tech checks, run-of-show edits, and livestreaming tests to provide a smooth attendee and speaker experience.
