Bethany got her start in book publishing, working in publicity, and event planning for publishers including Counterpoint, Soft Skull, Timber Press and University of Minnesota Press. Prior to joining cred, she was part of the events team at The Center for Investigative Reporting.

What's a fun fact about yourself?
I experienced an unprecedented 72 hours of Twitter fame, after posting a photo of a very strong cat.

What event would you want to check out?
Any gala at the Natural History Museum. Black tie and ballgowns under a blue whale.

What person would you switch places with?
Karen O. I'm still hoping I'll grow up to be a rad musician someday.

How do you spend your weekends?
Getting outside as much as I can—spending time in the park, going on hikes, wandering around new neighborhoods, or sitting on a sunny bar patio.
