TED is notoriously known as one of the most respected conferences in history, bringing some of the brightest minds to the stage to share profound “ideas worth spreading”. Every year, TED hosts events to bring together a group of expert thinkers and doers and share new ideas across a wide range of fields. We are excited to partner with an organization whose mission aligns with our purpose and values: spread ideas, foster community and create impact. Working on the speaker experience team, cred was brought in to facilitate communications, manage logistics, and coordinate content at the inaugural TED AI conference in San Francisco, the tech mecca of the world.

event goals.

TED is on a mission to spread ideas that spark imagination, embrace possibility and catalyze impact. TED AI was created to help the world gain a deeper understanding of how AI will transform our industries, institutions, communities, and cultures.

how we worked with TED.

  • Speaker Experience. It’s crucial for us that speakers and their teams have a seamless experience leading up to the event. We loved serving as the main point of contact to gather all information needed, answer any FAQs and share any details. We had fun using ChatGPT to help curate our monthly speaker newsletter!

  • Speaker Dinner. This included finding and securing the right venue, organizing RSVPs, coordinating necessary vendors, and being onsite to facilitate execution.

  • Content Management. With TED’s high bar for quality content, we had the opportunity to work alongside TED AI speaker coaches and designers to organize slides, speaker quotes, patents and publications, and prep speakers for the big day.

  • Onsite Management. Our favorite part of the process is always seeing the event come to life. We enjoyed manning the speaker green room to greet speakers, helping AV with show flow and call times, running rehearsals, greeting speakers at registration, and more.
