The Future of TV Advertising with Tatari Forward 2022

 

With TV advertising specialist and long-standing cred client Tatari, we had the opportunity to work on their first client conference—aptly named Tatari Forward. The goal was to create a forum for the future of TV advertising in a high-end, trendy space in the NYC area. After delaying the project due to Covid restrictions, we were able to launch the inaugural Tatari Forward on September 29th, 2022. We have compiled a few takeaways from the successful event below!


Venue

To create a modern, sleek event, you need a venue that provides the same atmosphere. The event was held at 230 5th Rooftop, NYC’s largest rooftop. The venue boasts some of the best views in the city, complete with a front-row seat of the Empire State building. The space is young, fun, and absolutely captured the essence sought by the client. And the stunning sunsets were an unforgettable bonus!

Format

We cannot recommend this event format enough—particularly the start time, end time, and when content was running. They started registration at 2:00 pm, content at 2:30 pm, and happy hour at 5:00 pm. In most events, you see session attendance drop-off throughout the day. But at Tatari Forward, the 2.5-hours content window was perfect, retaining nearly the whole audience. All were engaged throughout the entire event, including our 5:00-6:30 pm rooftop cocktail and appetizer reception. In total, there were 125+ attendees. 

Content

Having engaging sessions is key to any event. Tatari created dazzling content that connected to its audience. The sessions included commercial clips from speakers, tangible learnings from advertising campaigns, and audience Q&A to keep the attendees excited throughout the event. To top it all off, we had Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary as a keynote speaker! As a leading Shark on ABC’s 4x Emmy Award-winning show, Kevin O'Leary knows just how important TV is to building a successful brand and was a perfect addition to the lineup.

Activations

Small touches go a long way! We brought specialty coffees, custom signage, and Tatari-labeled pressed juices. These add elevated the attendee experience throughout the conference. 


Tatari is a great example of knowing and engaging with your client’s audience. The venue, format, content, and activations made for a successful event. We are excited to move “forward” with Tatari as a client in the future.
