This July, Los Angeles became a sun-soaked hub of big ideas and bold dreams for powerful women in business at the Create & Cultivate Festival.
A dynamic and highly-curated event, Create & Cultivate built an inspiring space for attendees to learn from business moguls in panel and fireside sessions, network IRL, gain inspiration from live activations, and have fun at their block party (with special performance from Grammy-winning singer Doechii!).
Famous faces, real talk, and bold ideas on stage.
Spanning three stages, leaders across business, entertainment, health, fashion, and tech shared stories of pivoting, pushing forward, and making impact on their own terms.
A few standouts speakers:
Ciara – Grammy-winning artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ciara shared insights on finding purpose in your career, breaking into new and saturated markets, and building a trustworthy team that propels success.
Jordan Chiles – 2X Olympic gymnast, Jordan opened up about mental health, the pressure to perform, and tools she uses to stay resilient and redefine success beyond the podium.
Jeannie Mai – TV host and fashion expert, Jeannie discussed identity, influence and turning personality into profit.
Emma Hernan – TV personality (Selling Sunset) and entrepreneur, Emma dove into ways women are reshaping the Food & Beverage industry.
Jessica Oliveira – Senior Community Manager at LinkedIn, Jessica broke down how to level up your personal brand on social media to better engage with communities and nurture connections that spark real opportunities.
Community building, one (scheduled) connection at a time.
One of the weekend’s most popular attractions was the Connect Garden. Using a tech-powered matchmaking tool, attendees were able to schedule time to meet one-on-one with each other. The result was hundreds of meetings where attendees were able to learn from each other, swap advice, find a mentor, or just vibe with someone on the same path.
To round out an electric weekend, Create & Cultivate organizers pulled out all the stops with a headline performance by Grammy-winning and cultural icon Doechii. Her set not only brought high energy, but empowered attendees to celebrate their accomplishments and continue to build the momentum they were taking home with them.
