As we reach the halfway point of 2025, let’s take a moment to reflect on the activities our Culture Club has organized to boost morale and connection across cred, no matter where we’re working from.
Virtual Role Lunches
In 2025 we introduced Virtual Role Lunches to help us build intentional connections within our fully remote team. So far this year we have sponsored coordinated lunches for our Coordinators and Associates. This gave peers the informal space to share daily wins and challenges, ask questions, and connect. Rather than being a one-off, these lunches will rotate each quarter bringing together different roles to ensure every part of our team gets intentional time to connect.
Wellness Week
Our annual Wellness Week was designed to balance physical activity, self-care, and rejuvenation. We began the week with a relaxed self-guided credWalk, giving colleagues the freedom to embrace the outdoors at their own pace, while a shared group Peloton ride offered that energetic, team-style workout. On day two, we shifted gears into self-care mode with a cozy virtual spa session, everyone shared their own DIY face masks and scrubs.
Day three began with a guided meditation session designed to help us pause, reset, and regain focus. Day four kicked things up a notch with an invigorating HIIT class led by our CEO Caitlin Bartley, followed by insights from herbalist Amy Branum, who introduced us to Dinacharya, a daily Ayurvedic ritual to integrate wellness into our routines.
As our Wellness Week wrapped up, we were excited to receive a special gift from Mexican Primrose Botanicals, a Latina-owned small batch skincare line rooted in plant based healing traditions and founded by one of our very own credians which added a personal and rejuvenating touch to our week.
We closed the week with a well-earned all-company day off on Friday, giving everyone time to rest, reflect, and carry forward the mindful energy we built together.
10-Year Anniversary Celebration
May marked a significant milestone: cred's 10th anniversary. We celebrated with an all-company offsite in San Francisco and our Culture Club hosted a team dinner at Park Tavern, where we enjoyed an unforgettable night of food and drinks. We reminisced about the past decade and shared stories and memories about just how far we’ve come together.
Paint-by-Numbers Session
We tapped into our creative sides with a virtual paint-by-numbers session that brought color and connection to our fully remote team. Each person chose a design and received an art kit by mail before we met virtually to paint together. It was such a treat to step away from emails and meetings for a moment, chat casually, watch our canvases come to life, and enjoy a simple creative outlet.
We’re excited to share what's next for our Culture Club in the second half of 2025. Stay tuned and follow along by subscribing to our newsletter!
