Event Spotlight: Collision 2024
This year marked the end of an era as Collision held its final conference in Toronto, drawing more than 37,000 attendees from 117 countries. Attendees heard from 570 speakers including founders, creators, investors, and more on topics ranging from the future of AI in sports, to the rise in AI-driven scams and what role AI plays in climate change.

Following the success of their inaugural event in Silicon Valley in September, the GenAI Summit hosted their second conference in San Francisco last week, bringing together thousands of developers, entrepreneurs, investors, and AI enthusiasts to explore the future possibilities of generative AI. Over the course of three days, attendees heard from industry leaders across five stages of content, discovered new tools and technologies on the expo floor, and discussed innovations, industry applications, and policy considerations in generative AI with fellow attendees.

It has been a roller coaster of excitement and anticipation helping plan and execute the first ever TED conference focused on artificial intelligence. For the past 5 months, the cred team has been working closely with TED as leads on the speaker experience team. And this week, we saw it come to life at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco. Recapping Q3 2023: Unstoppable Momentum
We’re not sure how it’s already October, but here we are recapping the previous few months. Q3 included some of the busiest months we’ve had as a team and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished. From July through September, our team executed 33 events across the country in Napa, the Hamptons, Singapore, NYC, Denver, LA, Austin, and London—as well as virtually in some cases. In this recap, we’ll share where we’ve been the past quarter, what we’ve learned along the way, and look ahead to where we are going next.
