Thirty-two of the most innovative SaaS leaders took the virtual stage at the global event SaaStr Enterprise last week on July 29. Our event management team has been collaborating with the SaaStr crew behind the scenes on speaker management and content curation. Lucky for us, this means we scored front row seats to all of the insightful content from the CEOs of Coupa, Gainsight, Algolia, PagerDuty, Box, Front, and more.

Session topics included innovation in the Cloud, digital transformation, and the real future of work in our post-March 15 world. The common thread and silver lining for SaaS businesses and individuals are relying on Cloud technologies more than ever before in our current state of remote work and digital interaction.

Over 6,500 attendees registered for the event, and all sessions live-streamed to SaaStr’s popular YouTube channel, Twitter, and LinkedIn feeds. The most well-attended presentations from Scott Belsky, CPO of Adobe, and Catherine Wong, CPO of DOMO, garnered 15,000-20,000 views across the channels along with scrolling streams of engagement on the session chats, Q&A boards, and social media. Be sure to subscribe to SaaStr’s YouTube page for all the session recordings and follow @SaaStr on Twitter to catch up on the day’s biggest takeaways.

Some of our aha moments included:

  • All people are lazy, vain, and selfish in the first mile of their experience using a new product or service. Build your product and your marketing accordingly. - Scott Belsky, CPO of Adobe

  • Tackle product improvements by asking women and POC engineers for their perspective on what can be improved. - Catherine Wong, CPO of DOMO

  • Trust is now the most valuable currency. Transparency and engagement are critical to build it. Build it by caring for your customer and employees and investing in social responsibility. - Jennifer Tejada, CEO of PagerDuty

  • The Hybrid workplace is here to stay. In-person and remote employees need to be equally engaged, inspired, and elevated. - Justin Bedecarre, CEO of HelloOffice & Jen Nguyen, Founder of Teamwerc

In addition to the thousands of attendees who joined us for content, 700+ of the top B2B CEOs and leading CIOs, CTOs and CXOs from the SaaStr community had the chance to connect 1:1 and in small networking powered by Brella and Braindate.
