Event Spotlight: Startup Grind Conference 2025

More than 5,000 founders, operators, and investors from across the globe came together in Redwood City for Startup Grind Conference this week in Redwood City. The two-day event delivered nonstop opportunities for startups building the next big thing to learn, connect, and get inspired. From expert-led panels and candid fireside conversations to live Q&As, networking, and beyond, every facet of this event was designed to support the boldest builders shaping what’s next.

This year’s speaker lineup was impressive. Attendees benefited from sessions featuring Aaron Levie from Box, Peter Fenton from Benchmark, Mar Hershenson from PearVC, Alfred Lin from Sequoia, Mamoon Hamid from Kleiner Perkins, Nick Erdenberger from OpenAI, Talia Abramowitz from Deloitte Ventures, Alex Konrad from Upstarts Media, Stevie Case from Vanta, Jacquline Young from Obvious Ventures, and many more.

A few session highlights include:

  • Kevin Systrom, Co-founder of Instagram spoke with Khosla Ventures outlining what’s necessary to build and scale brilliant companies

  • Aaron Levie, Co-founder at Box chatted with Mamoon Hamid from Kleiner Perkins on making bold decisions

  • Stevie Case, CRO at Vanta, spoke to Growth, AI, and Going Upmarket, including that AI should be seen as a “performance enhancing drug” for employees

If you missed out on all the action, don’t worry - Startup Grind is uploading recordings of main stage sessions to their YouTube channel.

Startup Grind Conference featured several opportunities for attendees to maximize time on-site, including an app to set up 1:1 meetings, co-located events including a pub crawl, and more. Our team had a great time being on-site for day 2, and we had the opportunity to catch some cred clients in action and take advantage of printed latte art, freshly squeezed juice, and more.

Startup Grind also offered a digital swag bag, something we love to see as part of sustainable event initiatives.
