From California to Connecticut, and a few states in between, our distributed team is based in several different locations from coast to coast. Since cred went fully remote earlier this year, we rolled out our new team trips to give employees an opportunity to spend more time with their teams in person.
cred prioritizes making a positive impact within society, whether that be through conferences and events, speaking engagements, or giving back. In honor of March being Women’s History Month, credService committed to supporting a women-focused organization for our first effort of the year. We spent the month collecting donations for the Women’s Daytime Drop-in Center which provides services to Berkeley, Albany, and Emeryville families.
We started cred with a mission of building thought leaders through events. To date, we have confirmed more than 4,500+ speaking opportunities and helped host more than 150 events for clients all over the world. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come—as a team under 30—to achieving that mission, and so much more.
Like every business, we’ve had our ups and downs. Looking back at the past 7 years, a few things I’ve learned along the way:
In between organizing events and securing speaking opportunities for our clients, here at cred, we always make sure to have fun and find new ways to give back to the community. While we are only four months into the year, two of our teams—Culture Club and credService—have been busy putting together activities for our credians to enjoy. Let’s take a look back at how we’ve enjoyed the show so far this year.
Closing out 2021, we are excited to announce our small but mighty team has now grown to a total of 24 credians taking the world of events by storm. Earlier this year, we highlighted nine of our newest team members. Since then, we have welcomed three additional members to our speaker management team. Get to know more about them below!
At cred, our Culture Club pulls together monthly events and activities to help keep our team together, even when we are miles apart. Throughout October, Culture Club hosted activities both in the office and virtually. Since the pandemic, our team has shifted to promote the hybrid era and our team is now spread across 6 states, so we’ve made it a goal to continue offering in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
