Q2 Event Insights: Momentum in Motion

As we wrap up another busy quarter, we're reflecting on the events, conversations, and experiences that brought communities together this spring. From exclusive hospitality suites at the FIFA World Cup to intimate networking events and company offsites, Q2 was all about creating moments that fostered authentic relationships.

Our focus in Q2 never wavered: every detail, from the first handshake to the last toast, was designed to leave a lasting impression. This quarter reinforced something we already believed: great events aren't just about flawless execution, they're about creating space for real connection to happen. That philosophy shows up in each of the moments captured  below.

Quarter 2 Highlights & Stats

This quarter, we welcomed 1,457 attendees across events in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and even Costa Rica (a first for us!), bringing together leaders from the SaaS, Finance, and Healthcare industries. Across our portfolio of intimate dinners, hospitality suites, company offsites, and President's Club events, we averaged 61 attendees per event with an impressive 75% show rate. New York City emerged as our highest-engaged market, a sign of strong demand for thoughtfully curated networking and premium programming.

One of Q2's defining moments was delivering premium hospitality experiences around this year’s biggest sporting event, the FIFA World Cup. These experiences went beyond simply watching the match: we created opportunities for customers, partners, and industry leaders to connect in an environment that encouraged meaningful conversation before, during, and after kickoff. By pairing world-class entertainment with purposeful networking, these VIP events demonstrated how a shared experience can spark authentic relationships and leave a lasting impression long after the final whistle.

This quarter was all about the details for us. Every aspect of each event was intentionally designed to create memorable moments for attendees. At a New York product conference, guests received unique experiential swag, including luggage tags branded with their initials (crafted right in front of them!). On the opposite coast, guests at a company offsite in San Francisco received a multipurpose screwdriver that promises to be far more useful than the typical conference giveaway - now that’s something they’ll remember!

We also transformed event spaces with custom touches like a moss installation of our client’s logo which has since found a permanent home in their office as a lasting reminder of the event’s success. Beyond these physical details, we looked for ways to make every attendee feel like an active participant. Live polling during breakout sessions sparked engaging conversations in real time, while post-event surveys gave us valuable insight into what resonated most and where we can continue to elevate the attendee experience.

What We're Experimenting With

One of our goals this year is to keep evolving the attendee experience before, during, and after each event. Utilizing LinkedIn Groups ahead of the event helped attendees get a head start on conversations before even arriving onsite. Feedback so far has been encouraging: attendees say the groups made networking feel more natural and helped break the ice once events began.

We're also rethinking traditional formats. Rather than defaulting to evening happy hours, we’re piloting morning networking events at conferences over coffee and pastries. The goal is to provide a more relaxed setting for meaningful conversation and one that accommodates guests who prefer daytime engagement, rather than the competition between hosted dinners and Happy Hours in the evenings.  It's a format we'll continue to explore and refine as we look for new ways to make networking feel more approachable and intentional.

Together, these experiments reflect a broader shift in how we design events: less reliance on convention and more built-in flexibility so every attendee, early riser or night owl, has an engaging and memorable experience. As we continue testing new ideas, our focus remains on removing friction from the attendee journey and creating more opportunities for genuine connection. Not every experiment will become a permanent part of our playbook but each one provides valuable insight into how today's professionals prefer to engage. Those learnings will continue to shape the experiences we build in the months ahead.

What’s Next

Momentum carries into Q3 with an exciting lineup already underway: two summits and a series of private dinners spanning Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. As we keep testing new formats and refining the guest experience, our focus stays the same: creating opportunities for people to build meaningful connections through thoughtfully designed events. We're excited to bring these ideas to an even broader audience in the months ahead and continue creating experiences that leave a lasting impression long after the event ends.
