At cred, our Culture Club pulls together monthly events and activities to help keep our team together, even when we are miles apart. Throughout October, Culture Club hosted activities both in the office and virtually. Since the pandemic, our team has shifted to promote the hybrid era and our team is now spread across 6 states, so we’ve made it a goal to continue offering in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.

Virtual events offer different perks than in-person events, including new ways to meet other speakers or attendees—several virtual event platforms have networking features to help attendees stay connected via one-on-one meetings, small group discussions, active discussions in the chat, and more. Networking during virtual events is quite different from mingling IRL, and our tips can help you make the most out of those screen-to-screen meetings.
Recapping Q3 2021: Virtual and In-Person Made it the Best of Both (Event) Worlds
Q3 allowed our event management team to finally cross that (in-person) bridge! This kept us busy and that’s how we like it! We hosted seven total events in the quarter, one of those being in-person—it also happened to be the largest Bay Area SaaS event since the COVID-19 pandemic began! Two of our seven events were for new clients, this being their first event with cred, and we absolutely loved helping them bring their visions to life.

Just over 18 months ago, in March 2020—only three days before the start of the event—SaaStr Annual was canceled in lieu of the public health regulations emerging as the COVID-19 pandemic began.
Last week, from Monday, September 27 through Wednesday, September 29, the largest SaaS community event in the world finally came back to fruition—and it was well worth the wait.
